NIKE Wordmark in plywood for Rabat store, Morocco.

Custom-made five-meter high plank wall, inspired in the NIKE guidelines. The wall works like a screen that is visible from the front and the back sides, making it necessary to dissimulate all fixings and junctions between pieces.

Located on a stair landing, the structure must be suspended from the ceiling slab and fixed to the staircase wall.

312 unique pieces of 32mm thick plywood are needed to complete the scheme. Each piece has its unique set of perforations, to assemble background and foreground planks. All pieces are sent to CNC machinery with their number engraved in their surface for easy assembly. Here below the detail drawing showing a small part of the total pieces.

Perfect alignment of perforations to preserve the exact geometry of the logo.
