JUST DO IT internally illuminated logo - Moroccan Style
JUST DO IT is a trademark of shoe company Nike, and it is one of the core components of Nike's brand. It is to be located in key visible areas of the stores, and at the time of construction of the Marina Mall store in Casablanca, Nike encouraged local adaptations in the design and the construction of the sign.
The magic of Moroccan hand-crafted brass lamps was the inspiration.
The Khamsa pattern was chosen as it provides good luck, and a vector version drawn.
The pattern was applied to the text’s silhouette and sent to production.
The right lightbulb was then sourced that would produce the light projections on the wall around the sign.
